Teachers of Waco and the wider McLennan County schools are cordially invited to join Art Center Waco for a Happy Hour! Let us treat you to some refreshments and a bit of creative time while you get to hear about our Teacher Training Initiative.
The Teacher Initiative is a free, grant-funded program offered through Art Center Waco. Our goal is to connect with Waco educators and schools to offer support, enrichment and training on the visual arts for art teachers and all content areas. We also offer connections with local resources, artists and events. We believe art is for everyone and strive to promote artists of color working alongside educators to bring diverse and culturally relevant lessons to students.
