Turn a hole or a stain in your beloved garment into a feature! Or, take your favorite jeans or tee to the next level. Join us for an art class that is all about sustainability and adding a little something extra to your clothes!
Bring an item of clothing or an accessory from home (gloves, hat, canvas bag, pair of socks). You can bring an item that is perfectly fine and just enjoy embellishing it, or you can bring an item that has a small hole, rip or stain that can be covered up by the embellishment.
Art Center Waco Provides the needles, thread, fabric scraps, etc but if you have a particular fabric, beads or other items that you want to incorporate into the embellishment, feel free!
Our instructor Judy Steward speaks to quilt guilds and teaches classes around the country sharing her knowledge and love of fiber arts. She is an award winning quilter and her artistic quilts have been juried into quilters associations around the USA. She is also an experienced art educator and creative wizard.
